Query Count VS. Applicant Count

Last Updated: Nov 29, 2018 12:05PM EST

The Query Count represents the number of times a job posting has been viewed by job seekers. The Applicant Count is the total number of job seekers that have completed an application for your open position.

The Hyrell System is designed to present all relevant information to job seekers at the onset of the process. This way, applicants can determine from the beginning if they think they will be a good fit. Therefore, it is very common that there will be a much higher number of Queries as compared to Applicants because job seekers that don’t have the skill sets you are looking for will often voluntarily self-eliminate before submitting an application. The high Query Count simply reflects the number of job seekers who did not match your requirements
