Disposition Codes

A Disposition Code (DC) is a reason why an applicant was not given a job offer. If turned on, the hiring manager must first apply a DC before they can officially reject an applicant. Your Hyrell Online Hiring Center includes a full library of DCs that is pre-installed in your system:
 

  • Better qualified candidates
  • Cannot work required hours
  • Does not meet minimum requirements
  • Duplicate applicant for this position
  • Failed pre-employment drug test
  • Failed to complete application
  • Failed to go for pre-employment drug test
  • Falsified application
  • Inadequate experience
  • Instability in past work history
  • Location
  • Motivational fit - career aspirations
  • Motivational fit - previous earnings and/or career level
  • No response
  • Other candidate hired
  • Performance during onsite interview
  • Poor communication
  • Position put on hold
  • Previous candidate who did not qualify for position
  • Previous employee not eligible for rehire
  • Salary requirements too high
  • Withdrawn
